I have had this treatment for facet joint. See denervation – John 21/11/02 . It works for some & not for others. For me it helped with one of the pain sources, but temp.John’s procedure is after the lumbar injections are not successful. I believe they can be very helpful to the Dr.’s as a diognostic tool, as well.The injections are used to decrease the inflamation of the joint on the nerve. I find that not ‘being out of alignment’ also works to keep the inflamation down of the facet joint. Jan has in other posts, referred to excelent information sites. It can be frustrating to feel as though you don’t have enough info. can’t it? I’m grateful to be able to learn – most days, anyway.
