    Hi Val
I suffer terribly with bruises. I think mine are caused
by my medication as it says on the leaflet it can be a side effect.
Have you checked out the meds your on ?

Hi All. Thanks for the replies.
I have had a few dexa scans due to the osteopenia so
know that’s slightly worsened over time.
I’m due to see an ordinary physio as gp doesn’t know what qualifications they have.
I’m going to see a different gp next week, maybe I will ask for a ct scan. Sorry you are all suffering too..

    Hi
Co codamol withdrawal can make you feel restless.
Have you cut down slowly or did you just stop ?
How long were you taking them for ?

I’m cutting down at the moment but I’m taking it slow.

I too suffer with fibro and cfs. The only advice I can
give you is to pace yourself. When you are having a better day don’t overdo things as you will suffer later.

I saw a cfs therapist but I couldn’t keep up with what
she suggested I do everyday, it exhausted me just thinking about it !
    Good luck at the clinic.

    Hi Rose.
I would love to change my doctor but it is the only
    surgery in my area.
I’ve tried other surgeries but I don’t live in their catchment area. My GP is the only one with 4 different surgeries
    around my area.

    Hi All
Thanks for your replies. I have had a ct scan some years ago, but this was for a completely different problem,
I was diagnosed with diverticulitis. I was seen a few years ago at the pain clinic where they said I’d got a sacroiliac problem so they offered me injections which I have refused so far. I have now developed pain in my coccyx bone which is very painful, I am being referred for physio but I don’t have a diagnosis so I’m going back to gp to ask for an xray. I’ve also been told my back pain is nerve pain so don’t know where I am at the minute.
Thanks for all the info, does anyone know where I should go from here ?

    Hi Champagne.
Sorry you too have spine problems.
I too have the burning nerve pains, do you find the Lyrica
helps with this and do you get any side effects from it.
    Take care x

    Hi Rose
I’ve known about myofascial release for a while.
If you do a Google search on it you can read all about it.
You can do a Google search to find a therapist in your area, they are hard to find, there’s only the one in my area.
Let us know if you find one.

    Hi All
    Thanks for the replies.
I did a search on pudendal nerve and it sounds just like
my symptoms. I’ve also got coccyx pain which you can
also get with pudendal problems. Sadly there isn’t a doctor in my area that deals with pudendal nerve problems.
I have found a therapist that does myofascial release,
anyone think they could help ?

I have taken st. John’s Wort For anxiety and depression
in the past, they really helped me. Sadly I can’t buy
    that brand anymore.
I have had a different brand delivered today so
    here’s hoping these are ok.

I can’t tolerate anti depressants, the side effects are awful for me.
