I guess the closest thing would be “buprenorphine sublingual”.
The tablets are tiny, and you put them under your tongue and hold them there for 5mins while they dissolve. You then get an instant hit.
I used to take this for several years.
Now im on “Tapentadol” which is the newest of the specialised Nerve specific pain killers. Its more powerful than oramorph, and without the side effects. Also the tablets are tiny. You can almost loose them they are so small. Generally though its only issued by Pain Clinics. Most GP’s are not aware of it.
All 4 of the doctors in my surgery did not know what it was.
Hopefully i will soon be stopping this also. I now have the dates for my Spinal Cord Stimulation in september. Finally !!. Praying that its going to be successful.
