The new David Copperfield film is very good and very funny.
The new ‘Emma’ seems to divide people. I saw a trailer, and they seem to be bringing out the comedy. We might go to see it.
A very odd film from 1963, ‘The Mindbenders’ was on Talking Pictures TV recently. It’s about sensory deprivation and brainwashing, with Dirk Bogarde as a professor at Oxford. For car fans, he has a Lagonda!! It is strange but good.
Really enjoyed the Downton Abbey film which I got on DVD a week ago.
Went to see Knives Out a couple of weeks ago, don’t usually go to the cinema as their seats don’t suit me. Didn’t enjoy the film really, not helped by having sciatica!
