Ray I am new to the group but have had spinal fusion c5/6 in 2011. Was in so much pain and had numb fingers on right hand for over 4 years. Couldn’t turn my head either way due to stiffness and ‘locked neck’. Tried everything prior to surgery. Woke up afterward the op and burst into tears as I could move my head and feel my fingers. Took months to decide to have the fusion but so glad I did. Now have similar problem in lumbar spine. Back on meds etc and awaiting injections. Hope you are not in too much pain. 🙂
