I’m just back from a 3 night break in the UK. This is about as much as I can manage really as different beds, more walking, train seats etc. make it a challenge.

However, I won’t give up on my mini breaks. I check as much as possible before I go, wider beds are my favourite, priority seats on trains (more leg room) and make sure there are lots of rest periods of at least 2 hours. Dinner in the hotel or taxis to restaurants, I factor it in before I go.

I’ve been on cruises and they can be very restful but would be careful to get the cabin nearest the lifts as the walks up and down the corridors can be hard going! Booking a mobility scooter would be beneficial especially the ones you book to be at the ship on departure day.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.
