So sorry it did not do the trick for you Steph, I had my fingers crossed. Most injections like this are used as a diagnostic tool as well as trying to give you relief. As you said you did get some relief from the leg pain then the S1 nerve may be the cause, do you know if Stenosis showed up on your scan? You could also have some impingement further up L3/L4 has this been looked into?. When they did mine they did L3/4/5 and S1. Maybe you could ask for this next time and all bases are covered.
