I have posted on this site before about nerve root blocks. I have had the same result as Ali. I have just returned from Holiday and I have been getting around a great deal better than before. I had mind done without sedation and to be honest I didn’t find it that painful. The end result all depends on them ‘hitting the right spot’. The first time I had it done three years ago the result was not so positive. This time as soon as they injected I was pain free. I am now going forward with an operation on the site that they injected. Good luck and I hope that it has a postive result for you both
