Laura, The Outside Clinic do eye tests at home. I got them a couple of years ago for my husband’s aunt. However we had no end of trouble with them not turning up when they said , terrible delays getting the glasses for fitting yet they were her old frames. They ended up mailing them to her with a bouquet of flowers as an apology. Aunty is deaf so I must have made 6 fruitless trips to her house to be with her for people who didn’t turn up. I’m sure they can’t be that bad everywhere and could be worth a try.
