Hi Demi
I with a friend used to take books out for “library for the housebound” we used to pick the books up every 2 wks & take them out to the housebound, members could order their books from a list we had or we always had 2 big boxes of library books for them to choose from.
we enjoyed doing this work as we made many friends people enjoyed our visits as well as choosing their books, there were also c.cds &
talking books.
This was lancashire c.c. provided this service.
when i became disabled i was sorry to have to give up this voluntry work.
