Well between you I have been spurred on. Spoken to the BMA, e mailed the Office of Public Guardian and then stumbled across the GMC Confidentiality Guidance Site which to me clearly states that her GP is way over cautious bordering incorrect. I will phone GMC in the morning and then hopefully present the Practice Manager with a practical way forward. It feels a bit like four years ago when I had to fight for survival myself. Why do our systems have to be so complicated instaed of functional ???? Argggh!
