Yes, her generation went through so much and became so stoic , it’s hard to telll just what they are suffering. The “don’t want to make a fuss” attitude combined with a deep fear of being taken into a “home” and losing everything they have means they put up with far more than they should. Glad it’s all getting sorted out. Whatever we think of social services and such, they do do their utmost to keep people at home.
