Unfortunately you have spoken to the wrong person.TENS doesnt interfere with aircraft navigational systems and is perfectly ok. Ask to speak to someone better informed. If it essential medical equipment remind them that they are discriminating on a perfectly safe issue. Seat allocation is up to the airline though normally a window seat and never exit seats. You are not allowed to block another person. If you are travelling with someone occasionally they wont allow another on your row for take off and landing. All airlines have a special assistance section and that is where you need to phone. Bear in mind that airline and airports liase to make your journey manageable all the way through. Interesting point is that in general you are better looked after in a wheelchair than without whether an airport one or your own. It will all be ok.
