TENS is ok both on aircraft and through security if you wish to use at the airport terminal tell before you are scanned the detector. A real shirty airline could ask you to turn off for landing and take off but if you refuse they back off. Book Special Asssitance through the airline and it runs a whole lot better. I always use a tempura wheelchair cushion and that has only been queeried once. I must add that to travel by air is the only public transport I can effectively use as help is always to hand and the law has tightened considerably since April for airports. They are the most disabled friendly people you could wish for. I fly often and just RELAX and ENJOY!!
