Rob or i can tell you everything you need to know about an scs. I had my 1st one fitted in 1998 and have had replacement surgery once a year since then so if you have any questions what so ever feel free to e mail me. Im afraid the wating list is very long so the1st inital operation i had to pay a £5000 shortfall and it only lasted a year instead of the 5 years i was told. I now have replacements on the nhs. I live in Essex who is the pain consultant you went to see in essex.
