When I was on chemo I developed what was diagnosed as shingles. They were bullet shaped and vertical above the waistline on my back. They made me feel extremely unwell. What has always made me wonder is that the hospital; came up with a drug which made them disappear within a few days. Everywhere I read there is no treatment for shingles. The cancer unit certainly did well for me! It is of course a virus closely related to chicken pox which tends to take advantage of people when run down from normal. It would seem logical that there are many differing strains of virus around. Broadly speaking I agree with Josette and it seems like it falls in the frame of shingles. iI you go back to your original post a few weeks ago you were in a low then as well and that is when it tends to recurr. I hope that the treatment is effective and you have seen the last of it. Take good care
