Hi Bella, When I had my SCS implanted I was awake with no sedation just local anesthetic, it was ok just scary but the theatre staff were fantasic and kept me talking the whole way through it. It was bearable and I have had worse experiences having some other procedures. I wish you all the best with your op and hope you get a good result.
