Hi Lea.
I had nerve root blocks over a period of 4 years and they worked ok for me. Trouble was they didn’t deal with the cause which was nerve damage from disc bulges and I had a double discectomy in Aug 2007.C5/6/7.Although very dramatic I have little pain now, certainly not what it was. I do get problems related to how much I do as the nerves are permanently damaged.I have to say I am blessed by what the surgeon gave me in terms of relief, but I haven’t been able to hang on to my job! But then I am old and I think it was an excuse for my company to get rid of me. I am not probably being very helpful but can only give hope to the fact that the pain might be alleviated which is the most important fact!
