Hi all,
Hope today has been a less pain day!
Just a quick question. I was referered last July to see a specialist about a SCS and I am still waiting for a letter for an appointment. My health board would not pay for me to go out of wales to Frenchay (my prefered hospital). Is this length of time before an initial appointment unusual? I have been pestering my GP, but nothing seems to be happening.
I am trying to reduce Gabapentin (was taking 1000mg 3 times a day – now at 800mg 3 x day) but nerve pain in my leg/foot is driving me mad and I don’t know how much more I can reduce.
Enough moaning, time to move off this chair to somewhere a bit more comfy!
