Haven’t you at least had an X Ray or preferably an MRI scan on it? When my knees started over 13years ago my doc immediately sent me to an orthopaedic specialist who ordered an MRI scan before he would do anything. It turned out I had a torn ACL in both knees and he put me on the waiting list for surgery. By the time I got to the top of the list I was bedridden with my back and they wouldn’t operate because i couldn’t stand or sit up to do the physio. I’m still waiting. My husband (also had an MRI)has a bit of the worn surface of his knee floating around the joint and when it gets caught he can’t put any weight on it. They offered surgery years ago which he refused but now all the doc will do is give him anti inflammatories.
