Rob – I was done on 9th October and was told around 12 weeks full recovery time, so am almost there.

Where they put it was about the best place as I have *ahem* plenty of padding there. When I wear jeans, the waistband is just above the unit, although the waistband can travel down with movement. If you can bear to see my rear end, a link to a picture is here:

I did wonder about wearing low slung trousers and having the lump tattooed with a nice picture.

Liz – Virtually all resolved now thanks, although she will need further future tests before getting ‘all clear’.

I was told about 12 weeks recovery. Advised to still take it easy after that time though to reduce risk of leads moving or becoming detached.
