Well all going well so far. Had the initial implant of the electrode and external wiring yesterday. My back hurts like he’ll at the site of the procedure.

Had my drain out today, so am now mobile, which is good cos I can use the toilet! Those bottles are not good!

The SCS is now live and tingling well. The programme covers all the affected area on my left side. From my rib cage to my ankle. Better coverage than just a wire, I have a paddle this time! Last trial at St Thomas’ was the wire.

My pain is the best it has been in years as a result of the Morphine and the SCS.

My hopes are being lifted all the time of a relatively normal life.
