I think you guys meant different days for trial and then implant with a decent gap in between I hope? However only trying the SCS for a day is not brilliant – although in my case I knew within the hour I wanted it, but for others they need a few days to try and do some “normal” things to see how it helps and how they feel about the sensations it produces. Try and ask if you can have more than a day for the trial. I had 3 days, after negotiating this with the hospital.

All I would say about having the main implant in the front is that many many people who have it sited in the buttock, end up having it re-positioned to the front, the odds are quite high, so I felt I didnt want to risk that. Plus as I mentioned, I use a heat pad a lot, which wouldnt have been possible with the implant in the rear.
