Hi Bazzer it sounds like you have similar problems to myself.After an MRI scan in 2003 I was told I have a cyst inside my spine called syringomyelia but yours could be something different.As I was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus this is quite common for people like me.I was also told after my MRI I have type2Arnold Chiari Malformation.I have nerve pain from head to toe and no painkillers make any difference.Six months ago I had aspinal chord stimulator op at Walton which masks the stinging pain with a tingling sensation.I am not a medical person but it might be worth asking your GP.Hope this helps best wishes Welsh Paul.
