Bazzer, like yourself I am having to grin and bare it. Have found the diazepam is helping when up my back starts going into spasm with the pain. Also ike yourself the right side of my face has been swollen and glowing for weeks now as though I have a boil developing, but as the day goes by it disappears. I really, really do have a good idea of what you are going through. I,m lucky in that I have my husband here. But he reminds me of what it would be like if he takes me to A&E. People dont realise the pain you endure with Fibro. I did read that the pain equats to that of Cancer but whether this is true or not I don’t want to find out.
I have been booked in to go to the Fibro Man. Course here in L’pool next Friday but I know for a fact that there is no way I can walk or sit in such pain for a couple of hours. Just have to wait and see.
Went mad yesterday and although in pain tried to work it off polishing a leather suite, today I washed dinner dishes. Silly things to do but tried my best not to let it get the better of me but sadly it does these days. Sitting quietly now; nothing I can do so I’ll just have to accept it. My heart goes out to you honestly. I;ve lost all my so called friends, but whilst sitting here alone and in pain yesterday someone from Friends Reunited mailed me and that bit of contact, although I dont remember him, made all the difference and lifted my spirits.
Keep you chin up,the pain is awful I know but remember you are not alone in your suffering.
