I’d been a computer addict since the first Acorns and BBC machines came out so when I was bedridden (on the living room floor on an air bed,) the first thing my husband did when I came out of hospital was set up my computer on the floor next to my mattress. That’s when I found this website in 1993 and from then on my computer was literally a lifesaver.
For the ladies who like crafts and needlework, have you tried needle felting? I just got the basic equipment this week; a couple of needles, a holder,a sponge and a ball of unspun wool is all you need to make flowers,jewellery, animals,, bags and all sorts. You can do it while lying down and there’s only a tiny amount of equipment to cart around. Google it. It’s really easy.
