Personally I would get them to e mail a confirmation so you have it in writing, So far the “writing” says not. Not that it is much help if the manual is not better informed than the Rep. The Rep has legs but the manual remains as the in place official advisor. It is very possible it is ok in some cases and but not if in your case You will get “oops she didnt tell me that part”. Then again I have enough to worry about so it makes me cautious. CT may be more expensive but the result is the same so why should you worry some of your NI payments are delivering a safer option?.
