Hi Paul. Ask at Walton as the recommendation is to only drive with the scs turned off because of the physical risk in a an accident of dislodged leads. Some things are ok providing it is off whereas not when it is on.
One thing is certain and basic physics that is used frequently is that cables carrying electric current emit magnetic fields and cables emitting heat pull more current. Please also ask exactly why magnetism interferes and then we will probably all have a better understanding. Hope your teething problems are soon sorted out and also you enjoy the new car hot or not!
