Hi Ian,
2009 L4/5 laminectomy & bilateral decompression of L3/4 to L5/S1.
2010 laminectomy L3 decompression L2/3 and L3/4.
Left with multi level lumbar disc protrusions.
2011 MRI Cervical Spine T1 & T2 to C6/7 multilevel degenerative change , mild compression left side of the cord C5/6 & C6/7 with multilevel foraminal stenosis ( bilateral C5/6 and C6/7 ).
I have been fighting it medication recently increased however, rapid degeneration this week can hardly use my left arm lower back and neck in pain, balance problems, sleep pattern severely disrupted. Yet another GP appointment last Friday. ( returned from residential college a day early in order to attend ) result referred back to my consultant just awaiting a date.
Question what’s more dangerous to undergo further surgery or do nothing.
Return to college on Tuesday giving it an extra day to hopefully settle a little only three weeks to completion of the course the possibility of a return to work seems to be slipping further away the stenosis just continues to reoccur.
Apologies for the gloomy reply just was not expecting the symptoms of cervical foraminal stenosis to develop so quickly.
Best Wishes
Bill
