Pregabalin is related to gabapentin and I had terrible headaches with that. I also cannot take any pain relief or anti-inflammatory medicines without having unmanagable side effects, so I don’t take anything at all now and just try to manage the pain as best I can as I’d rather have pain but a clear head – what a choice! But there you are, that’s life. Researchers are beginning to find out that there are chemical reasons in the body why some people cannot tolerate certain drugs, so perhaps one day we will have drugs tailored to our genetic makeup. Roll on!
