hi liz
jusust thought i would let u know ihad the same problems getting insured with anyone due to recent and needing furthur surgery. i tried everywhere and the only company that would take me on with all my pre exisiting were debenhams travel insurance believe it or not and it was relly reaonable o it may be worth giving them a call.
i had no problems going to america a few years ago with my scs and that was soon after the terroisst attack. i took a letter saying that i have an scs which works in a simalair way to a pace maker so they just body searched me and it was fine but do amke sure u dont go through the secrity gate as it can cause internal damage to u or the scs,
