hi jane,
i saw at our local market, and again in a gift shop, a long handled shoe horn in combination with with a back scratcher. a shoe horn on one end and a 3 or 4 pronged fork on the other end. it was plastic, made to look like wood.
if you spiked the fork with a cotton wool ball with a pea sized dollop of cream on, might that work? especially on your back.
it cost 99pence! i know about it as i bought myself one but mine didnt have a back scratcher
but was in the same box.
i realise it might be hard to find, possibly a 99p shop might help?
