Hi Nic and just noticed that you have not come back on the responses which I hope isnt because you find them a bit negative towards your intentions. I have to agree with others that titration is the key to successful downloading of meds. I have had two experiences. When I was in my late thirties I cut max dose temgesic overnight becaus e I was bull headed. It did however present no problems despite over 5 years on the drug. I was well on the way to morphine immunity. However recently (20 years later) I forgot my fentanyl patch and felt awful for the three days I was without it…real bad awful. I do wish you all the best to get off the heavies and I look back and sometimes wish that it was possible for me to take your route. Bon Voyage and please let us know what you achieve
