hey nic…i think most people have said the right things to do in previous replies, i was on 45mgs of diazepam a day when i lived in england, when i moved to scotland it took about 6 months for my notes to be transffered to the surgery up here….during that time the doctor would not give me diazepam and i had no choice but to stop and go cold turkey…for some reason the doctor would not give me a substitute for the withdrawl….i was ill for 2 months..shakes sickness my stomach was bloated and in agony…. i guess u just need to be careful and get ur doctor to let u down gently
