Sorry my post was a bit “clumsy” I meant that while it was implanted keep well away from all mag fields. They are everywhere and the classic is the elec lead on for instance a hair dryer which is easily dragged across the vicinity. All leads carrying electrical current have a magnetic field. The likelyhood of getting too close is minimal. I was being a bit flippant about whipping it out and as Nicky says the leads may well have embedded. I was consoling myself that the medical world has ways around most things and that metal innards are becoming increasingly common. The only dancing scs patient I have seen is when a mobile phone rang within close range. It was some hopping around scene haha. Fortunately scs and patient were fine afterwards
