Rob – I understand now why there are issues prior to surgery. I’m sorry to hear that you’re in such a bad way. I hope it happens really soon and that it works well for you. Even if it only takes away a percentage of the pain then it’s a result.

Nicky – Thanks for the welcome, seems like a great, friendly place.

Sorry to hear that your SCS hasn’t been plain sailing and it hasn’t worked fully. As you say though, any reduction is worthwhile.

In my own case it has been fantastic but at the moment I’m still on all my meds until a plan has been worked out for reducing them. I don’t know if the Effect will be the same once the meds are reduced; guess we’ll just have to waity and see.

Once everything sorted and settled, I’ll be having rehab as I have a degree of muscle wastage and other issues that need to be addressed.
