Well done and know what a long haul all this is. The surgeon wants my haemoglobin level correct at the point of the surgery implant ( it is high and I have to have blood drained every three weeks to correct it) I am not sure whether they will do that at Walton on the day or I need to go into my normal haemotology clinic the day before in Blackpool. It may not rule out the get it done straight away but at this moment in time it sounds as if they will decide the model after the trial so I get the best out of it. As I have been in a weary situation for such a long time skeletal alterations have taken place and I will need physio etc afterwards to attempt to correct the stresses and strains of the past few years. They are not expecting a 100% result for me but are hoping and confident that it will be worthwhile. I also have no spleen which gives a megga problem should infection occur. Hardly worth repairing am I haha
