Think you may have got the wrong link Di. It is a statement from Lord Sterling regarding recent press misunderstandings of the relationship between Motability (independant charity) and the slanted articles of the press which obviously have not understanding of how motability works. I am not sure they are right to cap the car cost but it is clear where specialised transport is required the cap will be waived and the five year lease will remain as a pose to three years. I dont use the opportunity either but can see that particularly insurance wise it is invaluable to many. The huge problem with using motability at the moment is the fact that benefits are so insecure and that should not be the case. Hopefully it will level out soon
