That’s a very good and clear explanation by the Government and I approve of the changes they have made to teh Motability scheme. I didn’t go down that route because if and when my DLA were to end I would have no cash sum to put down on another car whereas although I now have to pay insurance and repairs etc, I do at least have a car to trade in although I must admit that when i do need to change cars these days what I can get is getting older and older. I’m presently on a 7 yr old car whereas I used to be able to afford a 2 or 3 yr old car.
