Really empathise with you and the problems with trying to swap from tramadol to palexia. For me, it was too much and I was also of the opinion that a painkiller should work (like tramadol did) without endlessly waiting to see if it will. The pain and lack of sleep were too much for me to continue trying it. 50mg is a very low dose of it, so maybe you should speak to the doctor about increasing it. I was on 150mg and it was in no way equivalent to what the table said – they reckoned 200mg tramadol = 50mg palexia, not a chance!!! Good luck with it and hope it kicks in soon.
