It took me about 5 months to reduce from 600 mg a day to nil a day, so when I say slowly I really mean slowly. Some GP’s do not seem to understand how difficult this medication is to reduce and how a change in medication, which for then is just writing a prescription in a few seconds, is months of time experiencing unpleasant side effects and increased pain until we can try the “change” “new” medication. This time scale seems to be incomprehensible to them. Ii is only if you have to experience it can you know how a simple medication change can effect months of our lives.
