I just find your situation scarey and incredible Colin. MRI can melt the leads into the spine and make the whole thing not only useless but give a poor prognosis as well for your well being. I know what I would do in your position and the first step would be to go elsewhere and get my notes transferred as soon as possible to see exactly what damage is done (not so much to the scs but to myself). One of the greatest fears of anyone having scs is that inadvertantly they get treatment that is incompatible. Your hospital has no argument that it was doing the right thing which is result proven and extremely clear in scs guidelines. I am so sorry for you but relieved that you are here able to tell the tale
